Zubrytsia (Ukrainian: Зубриця, Polish: Zubrzyca) is situated in the south-western part of Ukraine, specifically within Drohobych Raion, Lviv Oblast.

Administrative Structure

The village is part of the Skhidnytsia settlement hromada, which is one of the hromadas in Ukraine.

Prior to 18 July 2020, Zubrytsia was part of Turka Raion, which was dissolved as a result of the administrative reform in Ukraine that aimed to streamline the number of raions in Lviv Oblast to seven.

Historical Development

Originally, Zubrytsia started as a hamlet of Holovske and gained independence in the late 19th century.

Cultural Heritage

The village is notable for its Orthodox church, which was constructed in 1871, reflecting the local architectural and cultural heritage.
