Chervonohryhorivka is a rural settlement located in the Nikopol Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine, with a population of 6,030 as of 2022. It serves as the administrative center for the Chervonohryhorivka settlement hromada.

Geographical Context

Chervonohryhorivka is situated east of Nikopol, previously on the right bank of the Kakhovka Reservoir. It is classified as a rural settlement within the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast of Ukraine.

Administrative Status

Until 26 January 2024, Chervonohryhorivka was recognized as an urban-type settlement. Following the enactment of a new law on that date, its status was changed to a rural settlement.

Population

According to the 2022 estimate, the population of Chervonohryhorivka is 6,030. In the 2001 Ukrainian census, the population was recorded at 6,710.

Economy and Transportation

Chervonohryhorivka features two railway stations on the line connecting Nikopol and Zaporizhia, named Revun and 111 km, although passenger traffic is infrequent. The settlement is also accessible via Highway H23, which links Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhia through Nikopol.
